Hit the Trails
Chef Lisa’s Kitchen
Summertime in Western Pennsylvania brings so much to life outdoors. I’ve always enjoyed the time when we conditioned our bicycles and hit the trails as a family. Whether we are cycling or hiking, we always get hungry for something that will keep our energy levels up. Before we head out for the day, I make my famous Trail Snack Mix full of nuts, seeds, dried fruit, dark chocolate and pretzels.
My husband and son about to hit the trails!
Preparing and consuming all natural organic and free from products is important to me. As the spokesperson for SHOP ‘n SAVE and their Wild Harvest brand, I can confidently say that I am a true testimony to how eating healthy is the key ingredient (no pun intended) to being healthy.
Next time you “Hit the Trails” be sure to pack yourself a grab bag of this sweet and crunchy natural treat - recipe compliments of yours truly!
Till next time,
