Joy of the Season


One of my greatest joys is waking up early on Christmas morning and baking my traditional ham quiche for the family to indulge in after presents are opened. Planning ahead makes the morning so much more relaxed and allows me to fully enjoy all the blessings the holiday brings. My quiche only takes about 10 minutes to put together, and just 30 minutes to bake to perfection. You simply place it in the oven first thing in the morning, and within no time your breakfast is ready. It doesn’t get much better than that!

1 cup black forest ham, chopped

½ cup Essential Everyday canned Artichoke Hearts, chopped

½ tsp. organic sage, chopped

½ tsp. fresh parsley

1 dozen Wild Harvest Organic Cage Free Brown Eggs

2 cups Wild Harvest Organic Reduced Fat Milk

2 cups Essential Everyday Italian Blend Cheese shredded

Salt & pepper to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. In coated pie pan, place Italian blend cheese, baked ham, artichokes and fresh herbs. Set aside.
  3. In medium mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Pour mixture into pie pan and top with salt and pepper.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes.

Yields 8 servings

Total time: 40 minutes
