Anyone that doesn’t like pie is no friend of mine! Just kidding! No seriously, who doesn’t love a delicious pie for dessert, especially after a Thanksgiving Feast? I enjoy making all types of pies, and I have about a dozen or so choices for my customers at Caffe Barista. One of my favorites is my Cherry Granola Pie. Why? Because it’s delicious, and adding a little granola makes pie seem like a health food, right!?!

Cherry Granola Pie

For the Crust:

  • 1 ½ cups Wild Harvest Organic All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Wild Harvest Organic Pure Cane Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon baking powder
  • 7 Tablespoons Wild Harvest Organic Salted Butter, cut into pieces
  • 2 ½ Tablespoons Essential Everyday Vegetable Shortening
  • 4 Tablespoons cold water


For the Filling:

  • 3 cups Wild Harvest Organic frozen Dark Cherries, thawed
  • ¼ cup Essential Everyday Corn Starch
  • ¾ cup Wild Harvest Organic Pure Cane Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Essential Everyday Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon Wild Harvest Organic Salted Butter
  • 2 cups Wild Harvest Cherry Vanilla Flavored Granola
