Fruity Dessert Pears

Ingredients

4 medium pears, peeled, cored and halved

1/4 cup cranberry juice

1/4 cup strawberry preserves

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Place pears in a 9- inch square microwave safe dish.

Combine the cranberry juice, preserves and vanilla extract; pour over pears.

Cover with waxed paper; microwave on high for 7 to 9 minutes or untils pears are tender.
