Ingredients

2 large, ripe avocados, peeled and mashed

2 tablespoons A.1. Steak sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup minced fresh onion

4 slices bacon, cooked, drained, and crumbled

6 slices tomato

12 slices San Francisco sourdough bread, toasted

BASIC A.1. Burgers

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef

1 1/2 teaspoons salt (optional)

1/4 cup A.1. Steak Sauce

Directions:

Prepare Basic A.1. Hamburgers: In medium bowl, lightly combine all ingredients. Form 6 patties to fit bread shape of your choice. Broil, barbecue or pan fry until cooked as desired. Combine avocado, A.1. , salt, onion, and bacon. Serve hamburgers, topped with sauce and tomato, on toast.
