Through this partnership, we’ve had the honor of giving back to military families through our fundraising efforts on behalf of organizations like the Feherty’s Troops First Foundation.

We also have a strong presence at the Airshow with a large tent area featuring family fun attractions and opportunities for attendees to win SHOP ’n SAVE and Sunoco gift cards.

Our independent retailers are truly ingrained in the community and dedicated to supporting causes like Feherty’s Troops First Foundation. In 2018, they raised over $31,740 to support our troops through the “Earn Your Wings” campaign, where customers purchased wings to benefit the foundation.

In 2019, the retailers are full speed ahead! SHOP ‘n SAVE multi-store owner Ray Charley is biking coast to coast in support of Feherty’s Troops First Foundation. Ray’s ride starts April 1 and he’ll spend 48 days covering 3,058 miles in honor of those who have served our country. You can help Ray in his quest to Bike Across America in support of Feherty’s Troops First Foundation by following the link to or you can visit your local SHOP ‘n SAVE to donate to the “Earn Your Wings” program.

Airshow tickets are on sale now for $15, a $10 discount only at SHOP ‘n SAVE.

A Soaring Success!

More than 100,000 people attended the 2018 SHOP ‘n SAVE Westmoreland County Airshow, which was held on July 28 and 29. In addition to raising money for military organizations, the event featured a wide array of fun activities and attractions, including aerial stunts by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, de Havilland Vampire, Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, Randy Ball MiG 17F, Douglas C-47 Skytrain “Gooney Bird” and more. SHOP ‘n SAVE also teamed up with Eckrich to honor the military and surprise one local military family with $5,000 worth of free groceries. They presented the check to Brian Moore, a 17-year Navy Veteran, and family on Saturday afternoon. To remind customers of the upcoming Airshow, we installed various pieces throughout our Pittsburgh Street (Greensburg) store. From the landing strip floor decal along the front of the store, to the model bi-planes and decals on our conveyor belts, and the retro-style graphic posters.
