Pizza Chicken Italiano
A recipe designed for oven-to-table service
Yield: Serves 4
Ingredients
| 2 | whole chicken breasts (split, boned, skinned ) | ||

|||
| 1 | can | (15-oz.) Del Monte Tomato Sauce | |
|
|
|||
| 1-1/2 | teaspoons | oregano | |
|
|
|||
| 1 | teaspoon | chopped parsley | |
|
|
|||
| 1/2 | teaspoon | garlic salt | |
|
|
|||
| 1/2 | teaspoon | onion powder | |
|
|
|||
| 1/2 | teaspoon | sugar | |
|
|
|||
| 1 | can | (2-1/4-oz.) sliced ripe olives, drained | |
|
|
|||
| 4 | slices | Mozzarella cheese | |
|
|
|||
Directions:
Place chicken in 2-quart baking dish.
Combine tomato sauce, oregano, chopped parsley, garlic salt, onion powder and sugar. Pour over chicken, cover and bake at 425 F. for 15 minutes.
Top with olives and Mozzarella cheese and continue to bake, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
